The meetings are an hour and a half; the first 30 minutes is a Bible Study, written around the topic of the week; the rest of the time is spent watching a videotape. The videotapes for each week vary in length, but are never longer than an hour. The Light Weigh is Catholic, and so is able to draw upon the FULLNESS of Truth, found in our beautiful Faith, the Faith that Jesus himself founded personally and designed. The Light Weigh draws upon the teachings of St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Therese of Lisieux, also known as The Little Flower, as well as the example Jesus gave us by showing how He overcame temptation in the desert. These teachings adapt to our everyday lives and have "made the difference" for members overcoming temptation.
