Happy Easter Monday!

“He is Risen!” These are some the most powerful words ever spoken. These were the words first spoken by an Angel, to St. Mary Magdalene and the other women, who were going to the tomb of Jesus early Sunday morning, in order to anoint His Body. These same words got fearful and devastated men to race to the tomb of Jesus, only to find it empty. These same words are the promise to each of us on so many levels!

God wants you first and foremost to spend your eternal life with Him - Yes! He loves and wants you this much! Allow that to sink in for more than just a moment. You are wanted. God planned for you – before He laid the foundations of the world! Before He created the Grand Canyon He planned for you! God wants to spend time with you now so He may help you now. God also wants to get you to the right side of the other side – the side with Him, where you get to spend all eternity with Him!!! Think of it!!! In order to spend eternal life with God, He sent His only begotten Son Jesus, Who is also God, so you would not have to search for answers and wander for truth. Thomas (St. Thomas) shows us much about ourselves - how even though we may know God has done so much, witness God doing much and know much about Him, when things get confusing we begin to question, doubt or even run.

“Thomas said to him, ‘Lord, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.’” John 14:5-6

Your search for happiness and peace is OVER, because you have found the Way, the Truth and the Life – which is Jesus. Now the challenge is to connect with Him deeply and daily, and trust Him enough to allow Him to move in your life. Light Weigh and Light Weigh One King both make this possible for members. I just received a letter, which in part said,

In the suffering of the Crucifixion, Jesus redeemed all who would accept Him as their Lord and Savior. This is the most powerful event that has ever occurred in the history of the world.

By rising from the dead under His own power, He shows us the ultimate hope we have in Him if we do not abandon Him. Jesus really does make everything right in the end if we keep faith in Him.

“He is Risen!” Our problems though daily, are temporary in light of the God we are so blessed to know and serve. Trust Jesus, follow Jesus, worship Jesus as Lord and Savior and all will be well.

Jesus I trust in You!
